Parking Permits and Parking Fees

Who:		Beginning August 2009, faculty, staff and students will have to purchase a permit to park at ISU-Meridian.
What:		Parking Permits must be purchased in order to park at ISU-Meridian. Spaces have been designated for clinic, visitors, faculty/staff and student parking. The cost will be $55 a year (fall, spring, summer) or $40 a semester.
When:		You can buy permits during Student Orientation, (Aug. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m., and Aug. 20, from 6 to 7 p.m.) You can also purchase permits all day Aug. 19 and 20. After Aug. 20, you can buy permits at the front office Monday through Friday during regular cashier hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking enforcement will begin the first day of class, Aug. 25.
Where:		Idaho State University-Meridian Health Science Center 1311 E. Central Drive, Meridian, Idaho 83642
Why:		Funds generated from parking fees will be used to repair and maintain our parking lot. The Meridian School District and Renaissance High School, with whom we jointly own the facility, will also be using a parking permit system for emergency identification and accountability.
