Recreation opportunities within the Portneuf River Basin

The Portneuf River Ecosystem provides many opportunities for recreation ranging from hiking, biking and paddling to snowmobiling, hunting and fishing.  The diversity of outdoor actvities depends on the health of the ecosystem, and underscores the need to protect this watershed.  This page provides links to a variety of websites and is intended as a starting point for people interested in exploring the Portneuf Riverand the lands surrounding it. (Much of the information on this page comes from the ISU Outdoor Program.)
