Biographical Sketch
Sue has been a practicing Medical Technologist for over thirty years. She is competent in all areas of the clinical laboratory, and has worked as a clinical instructor for Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science students. She began teaching for the Idaho State University Medical Technology (now Clinical Laboratory Science) program in 1991. With the advent of the expansion of the Clinical Laboratory Science program to Boise and rural Idaho areas, Sue has concentrated in adapting the Clinical Laboratory Science curriculum to the distance learning and online formats. She mentors students in the areas of Clinical Laboratory Management and Clinical Laboratory Education. Her research interests are in Clinical Laboratory Education and recruitment and retention of Clinical Laboratory Scientists.
