ALMAS, which stands for "Asociacion Latina Motivandote a Superarte," and then translates to "Latino Association Motivating You to Succeed," is a Latino-based student organization on the ISU-Idaho Falls campus. The club started with no more than 9 members, and now for several years running it has been the largest club on campus with far larger numbers, growing constantly with the years. The mission of ALMAS is to provide a solid student organization willing to help with on and off-campus events while representing Idaho State University and the Latino community in the Idaho Falls area and its surroundings. The activities in which it is involved include volunteer work, campus events, fundraisers, community service, charity drives, internal club competitions and others. ALMAS promotes student involvement, cultural diversity, and academic support for members and non-members.
