Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is composed of the president, the vice-president, five senators and the Senate Finance Officer. The Senate Finance officer chairs the committee and is appointed by the Student Body President. ASISU employs a General Manager, a Financial and a Financial Technician to keep a close eye on the books and the accounts of each organization. They do an outstanding job with keeping everyone in the clear. All ASISU financial requests (line item, C.E.A.S.A.R, emergency, incentive, and fund-raiser loans) are submitted to the Finance Committee. They do an investigation of the requesting organization and make a recommendation to the Student Senate. The twenty-member Student Senate then votes upon the Finance Committee's recommendation. If the request is approved, the organization is granted the request.
