John Miller, Football & Baseball, 1960-64

John Miller lettered in football in four year at ISU, helping the Bengals to the Big Sky title in the league's inaugural 1963 season. A defensive tackle and a punter, Miller was an All-Big Sky pick in 1963. Miller earned First Team All-Big Sky honors in baseball in 1964, leading the team with a .450 average, making him the first ISU athlete to be named First Team All-Big Sky in two different sports in the same academic year. John graduated from ISU in 1964. He and his wife, Pam, also a Bengal graduate, have two sons, one of whom also played for ISU's football team.
