Ray Allred, Football, 1976-77
Ray Allred was a two-year starter for Idaho State in 1976-77, and twice earned First Team All-Big Sky honors as a defensive lineman. In 1976, he was second on the team with 89 tackles, and he had a team-leading 107 in 1977, extremely high numbers for a defensive lineman. In 1977, despite the team's 3-8 record, he was honored as a First Team All-American pick. Allred currently resides in Lacey, Wash. He graduated from ISU in 1979 with a Certificate in Law Enforcement.
