Special Projects

Overview

Dedicated ISU alumni help advance the university in a variety of ways. Here are just a few of the projects we’re working on. We’d love to help you find a way to participate! Here are just a few:

ISU Memorable Moments Poster

A decorated past to help you decorate your home.

Turning 100 years old, the Alumni Association would like to help you remember the rich and storied history of Idaho State University Athletics.

“A History of Champions” posters are now for sale for $5.95 (plus $4.95 shipping and handling). Dubby Holt and Babe Cassia, pilars of ISU’s championship history, bookend many memorable athletes and teams for the Bengal Athletic past.

Call the Alumni Association at (208) 282-3755 or email alumni@isu.edu to order yours today.

ISU Alumni Center

It is our vision to create a home for alumni, students and the community who have embraced this University since its inception in 1901. Join us as we build on the past and encourage the future. Make the ISU Alumni Center your home.

L.E. & Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center

The L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center is an impressive 110,000-square-foot facility with three versatile performance venues and a magnificent architectural design, making it the most extraordinary building of its kind in Idaho.

Commemorative Bricks

By purchasing an inscribed brick, we hope you'll feel just a bit closer to campus and to all the memories and legacies you've created. The ISU Alumni Association hopes you'll preserve your precious memories permanently at the new ISU Alumni Center.

History Walk

The History Walk commemorates 100 years of Idaho State University history, stretching from the old sidewalk at Carter and 7th Streets, once the main entrance to campus, to Swanson Alumni Arch.

ISU: A Centennial Chronicle

Former Alumni Director Diane Olson's 416-page history of ISU took six years to research, write, edit and publish. The result is an exhaustive record of ISU's history, gleaned from every student newspaper since 1910, every ISU yearbook since 1904, and every alumni bulletin since 1953, as well as personal interviews, committee minutes, presidential correspondence and other sources.
