I Love ISU
The “I Love ISU” scholarship campaign has a rich history in Southeast Idaho. Started as a way for Business leaders to keep Idaho students in Idaho communities, this campaign continues to support Bengal students through scholarship dollars.
In 1982, the Greater Pocatello Chamber of Commerce called upon businesses to provide funding for local students to receive scholarships. These pioneers understood the economic impact of an educated workforce and what it means to keep our local students in this great state. As a result, this effort has grown into the most recognizable fundraising effort at Idaho State University. The campaign now extends throughout Bengal nation, with fundraising efforts in American Falls, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, Meridian and Pocatello. Money raised in each of these communities goes to the deserving students of these communities.
Due to the generosity of our Business community, “I Love ISU” has become a regional event that reaches far beyond the confines of our beautiful campus. Thousands of students who have attended Idaho State have been fortunate recipients of these scholarships. In fact, many of our volunteer callers who raise dollars for today’s student were scholarship recipients themselves.
Pledges made through “I Love ISU” can be directed as scholarships to any area of the university including departments, colleges or programs. This donor-driven support allows contributor to make an impact in the area they care about most. Students, at any level in their education, are eligible for scholarship support.
