2009 Schedule of Events

2009 will be the 27th consecutive year for the "I Love ISU" scholarship campaign. This year's leaders are Jennifer Bowen, Chairman and Roger Wheeler, Co-Chairman. Both alumni of Idaho State University, they bring their passion for ISU and their considerable leadership skills to this campaign.
2008 was a remarkable success for this annual campaign and if the results are an indicator, it will continue for many years to come. Seventeen teams of callers, lead by team captains from every sector of the community, contacted peers, co-workers, friends and family members seeking their charitable support. Each community (Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot and American Falls) increased pledges over those received in 2007. Even in uncertain economic conditions supporters chose to continue their association with this annual scholarship campaign and all are hopeful that this will once again be the case in 2009.

"ISU is an Idaho gem fortunately located in Pocatello where a student can receive a quality education. It is a privilege to help with this fund raising effort to benefit those students who might otherwise be unable to pursue an education."
-Norm & Beth Hill (retired) Idaho Power Company, Former Chair, I Love ISU
"It took me longer than the normal four years to get my degree as I had to work to pay for my education. A scholarship would have made a huge difference for me. That is why I know first-hand how critical the “I Love ISU” campaign is and what it does for our area students."
-Rhona Veith Keybank, Pocatello
