Letter to Faculty Regarding Note Taker Accomodations

Dear Instructor:

A student with a disability seeks a volunteer note taker for this class. The ADA & Disabilities Resource Center provides a $25.00 gift certificate to a volunteer taking notes for students with disabilities. Only one note taker per class can receive this stipend. In order to recruit a note taker in your class, please make the following announcement:

"Is someone interested in note taking for a student with a disability? The note taker will receive a stipend of $25.00 in the form of a gift certificate which can be redeemed at the Idaho State University Bookstore. Please see me after class for more information."

Please connect interested note takers with the student who has handed you this note. Questions can be directed to the student seeking a note taker or the ADA Center at 282-3599.
