To be successful in an international business enterprise, a baccalaureate degree holder must be able to contribute to one of the functional operations of the business. For this reason, the minor in international commerce is limited to students obtaining a major in business.
Students must demonstrate a proficiency in a foreign language. This requirement could be met through:
Nine credit hours must be taken in courses approved by the dean that compare different cultures or examine the history, politics, social structures, or cultures of countries other than those of the student. Courses taken to meet this requirement may also be used to meet College of Business humanities or social science requirements when appropriate.
Nine credit hours must be taken in international or comparative business or economics. Courses taken to meet this requirement may be used to meet major requirements when appropriate, but are in addition to FIN 310 (International Business and Financial Markets) which is required of all business majors. Approved courses include:
