August 31            Last day to add/drop early 8-week courses
September 3        Labor Day holiday (No Classes)
September 10    Last day to WITHDRAW from early 8-week courses - “W” will appear on transcript
September 10    Last day to register, add/drop, change section, or audit full semester courses
                                  - Last day to pay in full to avoid $100 late fee
October 13–19    Mid-term week
October 19        Seniors: Last day to file “December Graduation Application”
October 22         Late 8-week courses begin
October 23         Mid-term grades are due at noon
October 26         Last day to add/drop late 8-week courses
November 2        Last day to completely WITHDRAW from full semester & late 8-week courses
                            - ”W” will appear on transcript
November 2        Class level registration for Spring 2008 semester begins

January 9-11 Fee payment and registration in SUB Ballroom

January 14 Spring classes begin - Last day to pay fees to avoid $50 late fee

January 18 Last day to add/drop early 8-week courses

January 21 Martin Luther King/Idaho Human Rights holiday (no classes)

January 28 Last day to WITHDRAW from early 8-week courses - “W” will appear on transcript

January 28 Last day to register, add/drop, change section, or audit full semester courses

- Last day to pay in full to avoid $100 late fee

February 11 Open registration for Summer 2008 semester begins

February 18 Presidents’ Day holiday (no classes)

March 3 – 7 Mid-term week

March 7 Seniors: Last day to file “May Graduation Application”

March 10 Late 8-week courses begin

June 6 Seniors: Last day to file “August Graduation Application”

July 4 Independence Day holiday (no classes)

July 11 College of Technology classes end (except Cosmetology)

July 25 Cosmetology classes (including Nail Technology) end

August 1 Summer Commencement

*Summer Registration and Records office hours are M‑F from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sessions within Summer Semester:

Workshops start no earlier than May 12 and end no later than July 31.
May 12 - June 5   Early 4-Week Courses
May 12 - June 19   Early 6-Week Courses
May 12 - July 3   Early 8-Week Courses
June 9 - July 3   Late 1st 4-Week Courses
June 9 - July 17   Late 6-Week Courses
June 9 - July 31   Late 8-Week Courses
July 7 - July 31   Late 2nd 4-Week Courses

Registration Deadlines for all Sessions:
    —1st day of Workshop by 3:30 p.m.
    —2nd day of Class is LAST DAY to register, add classes, or change sections

Summer session bills are mailed weekly. FEES must be PAID by the FRIDAY before class starts, whether or not a bill has been received.
