Education:      BS in Microbiology, Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID

My interest in the Department centers around the Prep Room.  The Prep Room purpose is to serve the laboratory teaching faculty and graduate teaching assistants, preparing for many diverse labs and multiple sections each week.

I am assisted in the prep area by several work study students that make my job very enjoyable.  Interacting with the faculty and graduate students is another positive aspect of my job.

I am a member of the National Association of Scientific Materials Managers [NAOSMM] and currently the historian and co-chair of the program committee.  Next conference         To learn more about this organization go to:   http://www.naosmm.org

My interests outside of work include ‘this old house’

My husband, two cats and one pound puppy…

I wasn’t born in Idaho but claim it as home as I have lived the better portion of my life here.  Here is a picture of what the Portneuf River looked like flowing through Pocatello before the floods of the 1960’s and the subsequent moat.

I enjoy traveling and have made several trips to Europe, Canada, Mexico and have been to most all of the states in the US.
