Thom Ritter George's SONATA FOR TRUMPET AND PIANO was written for trumpeter David Hickman.  Mr. Hickman gave the first performance with Robert Hamilton, piano, on November 4, 1984 in the Merkin Concert Hall, Abraham Goodman House, New York, New York.
